Learn of the cosmic structure in Old Norse myths and tradition.

What  religion did the Germanic tribes and peoples have prior to Christianity?
Pagan old Norse religion is a word used, another Asatru. Historic sources stem from early medieval times. Even today does Swedish culture and customs have many more customs that have their source in pre-christian culture. Holidays may have lost much meaning for most but once we dig a bit in textual as well as human behaviour, we can find the meaning and deepen the purpose of old as well as current traditions.

We know some of the Gods, Odin, Thor, Freya to name some  but it is only a small part of the old Nordic universe. In this workshop you will be aquainted with many more of the various powers and energies in the Old Norse myths and tradition.

All over the world we recognize many indigenous cultures, for example the native American traditions North America and the Inka and Mayan (and many more) in South America. Also in Europe we know ancient traditions. In Holland we were influenced by old Germanic traditions (we still have the Christmas tree as an example), but also by the Norse traditions. So learning more about these ancient traditions, means that we get a deeper understanding about our roots before the Christian tradition took over. We get a deeper insight about who our ancestors were and also who we are now.

In this workshop we will start to make a (re)connection with nature, energies by discovering the old Norse Mystic Path.

What are we going to do?
Three day workshop with teaching, meditations, drum journeys and practical as well as physical applications to the myths, energies and archetypes in the Old Norse tradition. We will work with the myths and use the world tree Yggdrasil as a map for in depth experience and growth when visiting many of the beings and powers.  

Some of the contents:

• An overview of the various rituals in the Old Norse Mysic path.
• the three wells in the lower world of Time, Impulses and Wisdom
• Three “monsters” Midgardserpent, Fenrir and Hel, the meaning and use will be explored.
• Structures of the human complex and interactions of these many parts as a whole.
  Mind, body and soul are the most commonly known and in the Old Norse tradition there are many more.
• We will also visit with the magical signs of the Runes, the writing and magical system.  lecture and meditations.
• Many meditations, discussions and inner journeys.

What will be the result?
During this workshop, you will…

• have a start in understanding the Old Norse Mystic Path
• make a (re)connection with nature and energies
• learn new things about yourself and other people
• look fear in the eye (and learn to let it go)
• be able to let go of destructive behaviours
• get the chance to release anger and addictive behaviours
• see life from new angles
• have a great fun

In order to participate, some experience with meditation, drum journey and spiritual work is needed. Also a willingness to change and grow is in place.

Per Lundberg is a shamanic practitioner in the Old Norse Path, has held many ceremonies and rites in Sweden and Iceland. He is an experienced coach and teacher. NLP Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist. He combines traditions and archetypes of collective myths and traditions with the modern techniques of communication and trance states.
